Polygon Periphery (2017)
A downloadable game for Windows
Polygon Periphery was developed in 2017 for my game programming degree. The assignment was to develop a single-input game.
It is a 2D single-player single-input infinite game. The player assumes the role of a two balls that rotate in parallel from one another. The game is a clone of the popular mobile game 'Duet' but with a single-input control scheme.
The player's goal is to avoid colliding with the rectangle obstacles that infinitely generate. For each successful passing, the player scores 10 points. The player dodges the obstacles by rotating the balls clockwise or counter-clockwise.
The game keeps track of the player's high score for each respective difficulty level.
